Fitbit Surge is the most powerful Fitbit with GPS tracking, real-time workout stats and a heart rate monitor. But it's stepped up specs and touchscreen LCD make it bigger in size and price. It's also now pitted against more serious fitness trackers.

Three Fitbit trackers offer GPS functionality:
Fitbit Surge has built-in GPS. Select a run or exercise to see whether it includes GPS data.
Fitbit Blaze and Fitbit Charge 2 work with the sensors on your nearby mobile device to track GPS data (known as connected GPS).
The motion sensor on your Surge analyzes your movement patterns to determine whether you're asleep, restless, or awake. We use this data to calculate your sleep efficiency. You don't need to press any buttons or otherwise enter a “sleep mode” to begin tracking sleep. Simply wear your Surge to bed
It's water resistant but not completely waterproof. The Fitbit Surge is rain-proof and splash-proof. Even the sweatiest workout won't damage the device. However, the device won't survive a swimming session.
